About Me
I am Liv Alliston, principle designer at Liv Alliston Design. Architecture and design have been my passion from a young age. My mom studied Interior Design in college and then became a realtor, so I was always around different homes. I've been drawing floorplans since I can remember and always loved walking into a new space and dreaming about how I can make it more beautiful and functional. Although my design style has changed, matured and refined since childhood, my passion has remained.

I became an entrepreneur shortly after the birth of my first son. Creating and selling candles was a good outlet for me as a young mother, and one that allowed me to express creativity but remain flexible with my time. Now, I have three sons and have time and energy to devote to my passion - interior design. I would love the opportunity to partner with you on your next home design project.

I work exclusively with these design styles: Organic Modern, Contemporary / Transitional, European Traditional, Mediterranean, Coastal and Modern Farmhouse. Design process
As an interior designer who is just starting out, my design process is ever-evolving, as I learn and grow in my craft.

My process begins with an initial consultation for every client. It is during this time that I will meet with the prospective client at their home to learn about their individual style and design preferences and to gain an understanding of their particular needs for the desired project. This meeting is to determine if we are a right-fit for one another and will enjoy working together. Expectations for the project and process will be set during this meeting for us both to better decide if working together is the best decision.
After this initial meeting, I will contact you with a fee agreement. Once signed and executed, the planning begins! I will schedule a follow-up meeting to obtain measurements of your space. The next meeting will be our formal design presentation, complete with samples of textiles, finishes, drawings and a finishing schedule to set our timeline. From this point, I will work to execute our agreed-upon plan with precision, professionalism and punctuality.
